Fantasy Basketball Box Score Notes & Analysis For Tuesday 12/9
Big News From Tuesday's 2 NBA Cup Games
MIA @ ORL
Miami
Kel’El Ware - Ware has severe downside whenever Bam is healthy. His season numbers are still exceptional, and I think we just strap ourselves in for this rollercoaster for now unless the lack of crossover continues consistently enough.
Davion Mitchell - Really has not been affected at all with Herro back in the lineup. He should probably be rostered somewhere for the assists, but he’s still not a must for everyone.
Jaime Jaquez - Production has fallen off a cliff whenever Herro has been in the lineup, and he’s not a hold anywhere outside of schedule.
Orlando
Anthony Black - Started with Wagner out, and continues to do good things. Black has clearly taken a massive leap this season, and his recent numbers could be much better with normal efficiency. He remains a must roster player.
Goga Bitadze - You can’t rely on 16 minute Goga to roster indefinitely, but he keeps consistently stating his case. He’s a great stream target, and we’re rushing to add if Carter ever shows the smallest sign of injury.
Tristan da Silva - Boosted with Wagner’s absence, and a high level stream. That’s about the best I can say about him because his 9cat fantasy game has too many flaws to trust and hold
Desmond Bane - Another sell high window has opened. There’s been strong contrast with Bane’s performances & Banchero or Wagner being out.
NYK @ TOR
New York
Josh Hart - Remarkable turnaround for Hart this season, who has parlayed his role increase with a great run of recent production. The most encouraging part is that this is now coming on a (nearly) fully healthy team.
Jordan Clarkson - Elevated with McBride & Shamet out for awhile, but nothing to get excited about and serves as a mid-tier stream
Toronto
Jakob Poeltl - It’s no secret that Poeltl has been struggling, but it seems clear that his back injury is the culprit to this strange season. Still a clear hold as this is worst case production, and it’s still not half bad.
Jamal Shead - Elevated with Quickley out, and is a great stream for assists regardless of who is in and out.
